Vintage Wood Shaft Spalding Gold Medal Series Model 7 Putter You are bidding on a vintage Gold Medal Series Model 7 Putter made by A.G. Spalding & Brothers Co. circa 1912 to 1919. The blade type head has a dot-punched ball face. It is stamped on the back with Spalding’s two roses and hammer cleek marks, “Accurate” above an arrow, and an oval which reads inside “Earl Harar, Gastonia, N.C.” There are also stamped initials “J.R.A.” The sole is clearly marked “Putter 7”. It is a right-handed club that is 36” long. It has a bent-neck hosel (offset hosel), and the shaft is straight and strong with a brown wrapped leather grip which looks original.
