Condition of Club Pictured Below (Any Glare spots are photography reflections) : Grip: Good – Ray Cook Putters Shaft: Very Good – No Name Band Head: Good – Brass – Ray Cook Putters – San Antonio Tex. – American Open Model 5 – Moderate wear – this club may be considered vintage by some Length: 36 inches – Using the LDA’s method – Standing the club perpendicularly against the wall, the distance from the floor to the top of the grip. Club heads that slant, will have the toe touching and the heel not touching the floor. My Novice Opinion Condition Scale: Excellent – Very Good – Good – Fair Excellent Condition: Golf clubs in Excellent Condition show little sign of use. Without a close look, they should appear new. Both Shaft and Grip should look and feel new, and there should be no markings or scratches on the head or club face. Very Good Condition: Golf clubs in Very Good Condition still have sharp score lines with very little noticeable wear and seem to have been used very little. Chrome should still look great, and if there are any markings, they should be few and minor. Shaft may have been replaced but must be good quality. Good Condition: Good Condition golf clubs have had moderate use. Chrome may be worn, but not through the sole or face. Some wear is apparent on score lines and club face. Some markings are expected, but they shouldn’t require any grinding or heavy work to repair. Shafts must not be damaged and if replacements, similar to original quality. Fair Condition: Fair Condition golf clubs have score lines and markings dulled from frequent or heavy use. Chrome may be worn through the sole or face, and markings are expected – but nothing that requires heavy grinding or a blow torch to repair. Shafts must be original or good quality replacement and in good condition – no damage.
