This auction is for a nice 34″ Bronze Ping Anser putter with the Anser Sound slot. This is the most copied model of putter on the market. Every company makes a version of this putter but none really compares to the original. I own about 15-Anser Style putters which I will be selling since I need to use a belly putter (I stink without a belly putter). The distinctive feature of the Anser is the sound slot that is cut in the sole. Dave Pelz has done studies that state the majority of feel in putting is related to sound. The sound the putt makes when you hit it is feedback you associate with feel. Many great putters use Anser Style (Sound Slot Versions) – David Duval, Jason Gore, Davis Love III… Renowned putting guru Stan Utley swears by sound slotted putters.
